Champion Center resides in a beautiful modern facility that was designed specifically for chemical dependency treatment. The provision of all levels of care in one location, including hospital level detoxification, residential treatment, and gender-specific recovery residences is unique to Champion Center. Outpatient Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) services are also available on site.
Champion Center is built on a solid foundation of experience, ethics, and quality care.
Champion Center represents a partnership between the Lompoc Valley Medical Center, the first operating healthcare district hospital established in California, and Addiction Medicine Services, Inc., which has a long history of partnering with hospitals to provide behavioral health and chemical dependency clinical services.
Champion Center is licensed as a hospital and specializes in safe, comfortable, and successful medical detoxification for drugs and alcohol. Detox is the first rung on the ladder to recovery, and our hospital-level detox program includes 24/7 registered nursing care, daily physician visits, and specially trained staff to monitor our patients’ comfort and safety. Champion Center physicians are recognized by the American Board of Addiction Medicine, and our facility is recognized by CARF and CIHQ for its superior standard of care. In fact, we are one of the few addiction recovery facilities in the nation to have earned CARF/CIHQ dual accreditation.
Champion Center has a three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, or CARF, International.
