Residential Treatment


If you’re looking for a residential treatment in Santa Barbara County, look no further. Champion Center’s residential drug and alcohol treatment program, “The Oaks,” offers men and women the opportunity to enter a home-like setting to continue their journey of self-discovery through daily 12-step work and in group, individual, and family therapy sessions. The Oaks provides chemical dependency services to residents 18 years of age and over with the primary diagnosis of chemical dependency in an alcohol and drug free environment.

At The Oaks, 24-hour care is provided by Certified Chemical Dependency Counselors, Family Therapists, Recreational Therapists, Yoga Instructors, Full-time, part-time and per diem staff to support early recovery and provide a safe environment to optimize drug and alcohol treatment.

Stays range from 14 to 60 days, offering our patients an intense yet invigorating and inspiring pathway to personal freedom and recovery. Assessment and referral services are provided to the community free of charge.

The therapeutic process occurs within a holistic, cognitively oriented framework.  It is facilitated through educational, task oriented and process groups.  Resident and family education is provided.  Discharge planning is designed to assist the resident to function in an environment that provides for continuity of care. The department provides the following services:  Residential Services, Aftercare Services, and Crisis Assessment and Referral. There are 16 beds in The Oaks.
